Top Ten Text and Email Code Words – You don’t want your kids to use.
I can remember the days when I was lucky to have a phone in my own room so I could have private conversations with my friends. Wow does time fly! Now our kids will chat and text right in front of our faces—but that doesn’t have to mean we don’t know what they’re saying. If were near by, you can bet that they’ve texted their friends clues that your in ear/eye shot.
Here are some warning codes kids tell others that mom and dad are lurking:
1. AITR—Adult in the room
2. CD9—Code 9 – parents are around
3. KPC—Keep Parents Clueless
4. MOS – Mom over shoulder
5. POS – Parent over shoulder
6. PAW – Parents are watching
7. P911 – Parent alert
8. PAL – Parents are listening
9. PRL – Parents are listening
10. PIR – Parent in room

Mama mia, I have always loved shopping but who knew that shopping with my Pre Teen Drama Queen would nix my love of shopping. Well I guess I still love to shop and you will to with the help of Justice and Limited 2. The idea of shopping online is even more inviting these days though. It is safe, easy and offers such great variety and is perfect for the Trendy Working Mom. Don’t get me wrong, as a busy working mom a day out shopping with my daughter is like chicken soup for the sole. Our opportunity to see the latest items coupled with the smile on her face when she sees the perfect outfit, there is nothing like it. That is until we started to shop online and see the additional variety of styles available and typically at discounted rates. Plus when the packages arrive in the mail it is like Christmas ever time the UPS guy knocks at the door.

Another Cinderella Story – with a twist

The cast makes this an easy to watch family film perfect for a Friday movie night.
Mary (Selena Gomez) is a high school senior filled with dreams of auditioning for the Manhattan Dance Academy. Working hard to achieve her dream while balancing slaving away for her guardian a washed up pop singer and her twin daughters. That is until the magical night where she meets the unexpected man of her dreams -Teen pop star Joey Parker (Andrew Seeley). The two meet at a masked ball where Mary’s identity is unrevealed leaving Joey clamoring to find out who the girl of his dreams truly is.
A match made to enchant us all Joey searches to find out who his true Cinderella is. Not an easy task when every girl in school is clamoring at the chance to grab Joey’s attention, including Britt and Bree.
Unlike most Cinderella stories this great flick doesn’t leave the big reveal until the end of the movie but instead keeps your attention which silly antics, plans to split the adorable pair up and great dance scenes.
OK parents lets get real there are tons of cheesy moments but it isn’t all bad.
Without giving away too much, the move is fun and enchanting and some of the unconventional elements make “Another Cinderella Story” well worth a view. If you have a tween this movie is a Trendy Mom Kid Shoe
must see.
