Protect Your Skin

against Sunburn

Looking after your skin is a top priority throughout the year and any season.  Using simple tips to protect your skin both inside and outside of your body:

Prior to heading out into the summer sun:

• Keep Hydrated – Drinking water throughout the day – one to two liters is the perfect blend. In hot weather more water is always better.
• Keep your eating light – Don’t eat heavy foods, instead keep your tummy happy with light sun friendly foods like – salads, fruit and vegetables.

Daddy’s Little American Girl..

 Is there anything more adorable than seeing a rocker dad taking his daughter to pick out a new doll, especially when it is an American Girl doll? While her busy mom Nicole Richie was getting ready for an important New York Gala, little Harlow and daddy Joel Madden were busy finding the perfect new doll at a Los Angeles American Girl Store.

2-year-old Harlo Madden couldn’t have been happier, shopping with her Good Charlotte front man dad Joel Madden.

Madden recently told the LA Times that he’s “the best he’s ever been” thanks to Richie and their two kids Harlow and Sparrow, 7 months. “I have two kids that are my life — they’re my entire world,” he shared during the interview, adding that he’s Richie’s biggest fan.

Sounds like being a dad hits the top of Joel Maddens list of accomplishments.  ”My kids make me feel good about myself,” said the 31-year-old. “I’m not really worried about succeeding or failing.”

Looks like this rocker dad had his hands full walking out of the LA American Girl store, toting two precious packages; Harlow and of course her new American Girl doll.  No doubt there will be many more shopping trips to come for this father and daughter duo.
