What do your SHOES say about you?
Calling all shoe fanatics this fun quiz is a must view.
You know the old adage that you can tell a lot about a person from what is in the medicine cabinet. Well I think the perfect way to get a sense of a person’s personality is to take a good look at their shoes.
What do your shoes say about you??? I couldn’t wait to see if the results were on and they were.
Looks like I am: Impulsive – I’ve got a good head on my shoulders (why 
thank you), and some sensible shoes in my closet. I am responsible and mature; some might call you wise beyond my years. My friends and loved ones can count on my patience and good advice. What they don’t always turn to me for is…well…fun. Sounds like I need to kick off my shoes a little more and let loose…

Biggest Looser Low Down

Get the Biggest Loser Low Down
As a busy working mom I have to admit that one of the biggest thing that has gone to my waist side besides an extra 10 pounds is the time to work out. We can always find excuses and I have no doubt that you, just like me have a closet full of items you keep saying you are saving for when you drop the extra weight. Well I was reminded today about how good it feels to take even 45 minutes of Me time to work out. Today I had my Biggest Loser wake up call. Back in my pre-mommy days and early mommy days I always made time to stay fit, where did I go wrong. Trust me I try to find ways around the house to stay fit: Lunges while vacuuming, squats using my 2 yr old (or what I like to call my 25 lb personal weight)
What could be better though then 30 minutes of ME time where you can loose up to 500 calories. That’s right you can burn off at least 500 calories in half an hour in the average Spin class. I found myself chatting with an old work out friend, and her and her hubby are recent Biggest Loser fans. She mentioned a piece that The Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper shared about his favorite fitness tip and how it inspired her and her husband to finding out more. Well off I went, I had to learn more about how to loose that extra 500 calories a day and I hopped online to view the Biggest Loser video on SPIN. Give it a watch: I bet you’ll be glad you did, I know I am. This Trendytip.com momma is looking forward to hoping into the next SPIN Class at our local YMCA and burning those extra calories before the holidays.

Pumpkin Carving – 101

How has Pumpkin Carving changed so much since I was a kid. My 7 yr old daughter came home from school with the simple statement that they were having the a Pumpkin Carving contest in her class and of course the statement we all melt with – “MOM I really want to win”
Well Thank goodness for the internet and a creative mind we came up with the below Pumpkin Burger. It turned out so good I was surprised but in all truth, the coolest part of our Pumpkin Carving this year was the great time we had trying something different.
Trendy Tip Life Lesson Learned – Sometimes doing something different from the old traditions can make a new Trendy Tradition all your own. Needless to say, I am not sure that Halloween and Pumpkin Carving will ever be the same at my house.

Cafe Press – Making your words come alive!

Ladies there’s really no better way to say what
you mean without saying a word!
In the ongoing search for fun ways to express myself, I stumbled upon CafePress and I was hooked. For those of you that are old enough to remember Ally McBeal you will remember the quirk antics and outlandish imagination that would come alive (dancing baby). My favorite part of the show was the ability to show Ally’s imagination come alive, those things she would imagine doing but would never actually do. The things she would imagine saying, but no one would ever expect to hear coming out of her mouth. Well for me Café Press offers that and more. To those who know and love me, I am the smart mouthed mom that will say anything, well now I don’t have to say it, I can bring my personality and thoughts alive in a variety of ways..
